Flarenet suitable for back pressure certification

I found out my company has a flare net application from aspen. (by default) is it common to use this application for system differential pressure calcs on headers.. rather than spreadsheets/ other network flow programs

My question is.. can you use flarenet for these DP calculations in design mode ?

eg. would you use flarenet to size your distribution header.. or to rate it ?

Yes i would use flarenet to size based on the scenarios set up.
