Hi everybody,
need methodology for process and mechanical flare and flare system design.
Is there possibility to get some valid excel sheet.
Thank you for any information
pennpier, thank you - already did, of course. Also got saome articles. What I need is "step by step" methodology, probably written in API 521. Anyway - thank you again
You may find that the companies, specialized in the flare system design & fabrication, may provide the classes for the design details you are looking for, such as Zeeco, John Zink Hamworthy, etc.
@saraba, its always nice to get something (valuable) for free! But how will you know if it works and how will you discuss the results with if they look odd? Flare design is a serious business and you will either have to know how to do it yourself or be ready to pay somebody who knows in my opinion.
MortenA, thank you for kind concern. So far I did calculation in accordance with API 521, just to see what I have to care about and to learn the procedure. My company will engage certain experienced designers to do the job and I will do alltogether with them.
I want to thank you and all others for kind support.
An important criterion in flare tip selection is to enable smokeless operation over a wide normal operating flow range ( emergency, depressuring and relief stream flows need not be included in this flow range usually) and to handle almost the entire range in feed stream composition whilst maintaining smokeless operation. Check that you have adequate feed pressure to entrain sufficient combustion air.
