Flange Groove Inlay

Hi,
As per our client spec there is no detail about groove inlays for API 6BX flanges and we placed the material orders without inlays. Is it ok? The flange material is AISI 4130 and gasket material is SS16.

It depends on what material class of the body want to become.
If the body was expected to have material class HH, then you have to apply cladding on the groove.
