Hello everyone, I'm designing a small vacuum chamber with a viewport like the one in the image with the . My problem is I don't really know which category and class this kind of flanges fit in.
Also I calculated the wall thickness as a shell under external pressure, taking the total length L from the base of the chamber to where the flanges meet like in the picture, is this approache ok or is there another way to calculate it?
