I keep getting the error message...... "The Flow and Cross curves do not intersect within tolerance. Select intersecting curves." ......in a pretty simple streamline operation.

I have checked and rechecked the endpoints of each and every flow and cross curve I have, and the distance between them is always zero, out to nine decimal places. I HAVE INTERSECTING CURVES.

Where is this wonderful "intersect tolerance", and why is it stopping me from completing this Streamline operation?

Hint: I get no cut direction indicators when I ask for them, either.

The error message says "do not intersect within tolerance". Changing the chaining tolerance has not affected this broken operation.

What is "intersection tolerance"?

I replaced the cross curves (splines) with lines connecting the flow curves, checked each intersection to make sure I have a perfect intersection (distance is ZERO between endpoints...). Now, the operation HANGS!

How many flow/cross curves do you have? If you have a 4 sided patch with more than 2 flow curves (or more than 2 cross curves) they will have to touch (within tolerance) at each intersection, not just end points.

Thanks for the reply, cowski.

Two flow curves, two cross curves.

I still have not found out what "intersection tolerance" is.
