Hi everyone,
I have a dilemma regarding the fits that I should choose for a transition flange between a motor and a housing. I am looking at the green flange (300mm dia-- see attached picture), that should mate into the motor's flange spigot. I would normally go with H8/f7, but in my case the motor is quite heavy and big (it will be hoisted). Would .002"-.007" clearance be to little to allow me to easily attach the motor to the flange? The motor is going to be bolted on the flange. There will slow speed (20 RPM) but high torque.
Thank you in advance.
