Fire Hydrant Flow Test for Hydraulic Modeling

I am trying to inquire about what flow is typically used when modeling a fire flow test through a fire hydrant. Typically what I have seen is either 1000 GPM or 500 GPM, but I haven't seen a standard on what what should be used. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks.
