LUSAS Bridge Finite Element Software

This is a product from England; we have received a querie about this software. Is anyone familiar with it?

I've also posted this in the FEM forum.

thanks, Dik

Dik - I haven't used it personally but have heard in it's early years it was very unstable for large projects and when you really get down to it, for what they advertise it to do, it's all about large bridges.

I haven't heard anything like that for about 5 years now so perhaps it's been fixed with improved solver engines.

Thanks... Dik

i have used LUSAS FEA, and its a very strong software for small and simple problems, but as you go along modelling larger and complex models it becomes more complex, and difficult. i would strongly recomend for bridges and other general civil structures.
MIDAS CIVIL

its very easy to use and is widely used for very large projects.

Thank-you, gentlemen...

Dik
