filtration for irrigation

I need filtration for an irrigation system supplying centre pivots @ 1500m³/hr

What type of filters could be considered for the application?
Water is abstracted from a service canal.

One would think that you are interested in a strainer, not a filter.

As Lan123 suggests, you need to talk to the irrigation equipment supplier and determine what level of solids that the equipment can handle.
