Hi

I have a form which when initialized it sets the rowsource of a listbox to a range on an excel worksheet.

I also have a combo box. When a value is selected in the combo box I would like to filter the listbox to what ever is in the combo box.

Each user has a permission. eg admin and I would like to filter just admin, or just something else.

This is the initialize part
LSTBOXUsers.RowSource = "Users!B2:E6"

Does anyone know how to go about this.

I hope someone an help

Thanks

I have set up a workbook to do what I think you want to do.

The combo box is filled with values obtained from Advanced Filter (unique records only) and the list box is updated using the change event of the combo box.

You can ask for it from mala_rs_singh@rediffmail.com

By the way, it'd make many people very happy if eng-tips were to allow attaching files with the posts - if this facility exists, please tell me someone...
