my question pertains to a project I am working on for my senior design as I am a bit confused on how to filter out the magnitude of the dc magnetic field. my projects purpose is to measure the magnetic field from wires in particular the AC powers magnetic field, so that it can be used in homes and in construction. I thought that I could use a bandpass filter however I am a bit unsure with my calculation as I would like to have 60hz be the center frequency for this filter and I figured that if I connect my magnetometer to said filter than to my Arduino that I could achieve this affect. however I am still unsure as my school doesn't teach filters well and covid cut that class short, I would appreciate any help from anyone with a better understand.
