I have calculated similar U values for some of my asphalt/heavy oil tanks - though determining the fim coefficients seems to be a bit more than a guess.
I would be really interested in any information the users of this forum could point me to (such as the charts MarcAndre alludes to) that would help me determine appropriate fim coefficents for asphalt, heavy fuel oils, etc in steel tanks.
