I wish to fill an annular area with a pattern of equispaced holes. Image gives an idea of what I want using a pattern along roughly spiral curve. Number of holes is fixed.

Is ther an easy way without going into complicated mthematics?

Many thanks

You will need to use a Curve by Table to generate the path curve.
Can I ask why you need a curve of that shape?

The design intention is to have holes evenly distrubuted in 2 dimensions . I am using part to fixture a fixed number rods so that maximum spacing between rods is achieved in a circular arrangement.

I was hoping there may be a simple fill command similar to pattern pattern.

I eventually went with patterning along a distorted helical curve. Worked out OK.

thanks
