Does anyone know if you can set autocad lite 2000 to a directory? Everytime I open or save it is to a specific file. Autocad defaults me to the file created when the program was installed.

Mike: You should be able to right click on the Autocad Icon on your desktop. Then select properties. This will bring up the properties box. Go to start in and change the location. This will be your default working directory.

Not sure if it is the same in ACAD LT 2000 as it is in ACAD 2000, but in ACAD 2000, what Oakie said above is true if the variable "rememberfolders" is set to 0. If "rememberfolders" is set to 1, ACAD will not start in the "Start In" folder.
