Hi all

by using custom tools > post processing > nodes move by deform

all nodes will have the coordinates of the deformed model.

is there a way to have the nodes at the previous, non-deformed, coordinates?

thanks

save the model before you post-process ?

duplicate the model (well, nodes), so you have one set of nodes in their original position and the other set is post-processed.

undo ??

probably some other clever way too ...

Convert sign of deformations (if you have results) and apply nodes move by deform again.

rb1957 I was hoping someone has this "clever way" solution, since the tool allows to "move nodes by deform" there should be a way to get them to the previous position.

maybe is the solution of karachun? but I don't get how to convert it in the op2 file...?

Use Node Move By Deform with Options custom tool. Set Scale factor to -1. This should invert displacements and set them to zero.

that's pretty "clever" ...
