Dear all,

I have a hybrid bolted joint with CBEAM fastener idealization. The aim is to extract fastener bearing loads as well as flows.
What is the procedure?
Are there any tools which can automate this process?

Thank you in advance

your CBEAM will have two shear forces, components of the bearng load.

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

Like rb1957 said you have two planes for a beam element.

For example plane 1 is in the beam axis X and orientation vector Y (XY) plane, plane 2 is the normal to plane 1 (XZ). You could model the beam element and connect the end to the hole edge with RBE3 elements. I think it should give you what you need for bearing and axial.

Many thanks everyone for your feedback
Much Appreciated

actually the least you can do is nothing, the most you can do is give an LPS !
