Hello,
I have a question regarding feeder pillars. When are these units best used, is it solely based on length of cable run ( e.g to save long runs) or are there other factors to consider?

Thanks

Do you care to explain what a feeder pillar might be? Sounds pretty specialized/localized, there may be others that know exactly what you want but haven't a clue about a "feeder pillar". That's a term I've never encountered before.

Thanks for this. Another term they sometimes go by is power pillar or a power box.

Thanks

Feeder pillar is a popular term in UK in compliance with BS /IEC for low vltage (LT) distribution applications.
The NEC or any ANSI standad do not recognise tis terminology. A closer approximation is better known as power panels, panelboard or power rack enclosure.
