FEA Simulation .AVI Files

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me what 'Codec', or form of compression is used when creating .avi files of FEA simulations? and if/how it can be changed?

I am unable to view any created files in any multimedia packages, due to "unrecognised compression format".

Or is there something else that I have missed/could do?


Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
