FEA Free Plate Edges

Hi All,

Has anyone used Strand 7 and got the following error when trying to create a solid mesh?

"The surface mesh is not valid because free edges or edges shared by more than two plates were found"

Does anyone know what this means?

Strongly recommend you remove this question, and re-post it in the Finite Element Analysis section. You will get more detailed attention there to this specific problem.

Yes, I got that message in the past, but I haven't done FEA (Strand 7) since 2012, so I don't remember what I did to correct it.
