Hi,

I have just started to work in FEA analysis on ANSYS Workbench. I find that, when two bodies are in contact it is by default considered as bonded.
can anyone explain the difference between a bonded and fixed constraint.
Also, if there is a bolt and not holding two parts together, what kind of constraints should I use.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Sudir1805,

This would be a better question on the FEA form or on an ANSYS forum, if we have one.
