I am currently working on a research of fatigue analysis in aluminium alloys in a corrosive environment. I am planning on using FEA analysis tool like Ansys to back ujp my experiments. But I can't seem to figure out how to simulate a corrosive environment in Ansys.
Please, I would greatly appreciate suggestions of how to simulate a corrosive environment in fatigue analysis using ansys.

What are you trying to model with the corrosive environment? Material removal, localized stiffness or strength reduction?

I want to model fatigue life(SN curve) and fatigue crack growth of aluminium alloys in corrosive environment.

I don't know whether you noticed, but this is the Cosmos forum. There is an Ansys forum which would be better suited to answering Ansys questions.

You don't put the corrosive environment into the FEA program. The corrosive environment has to do with allowables and fatigure curves which are independent of the code you are using. How you handle these is greatly dependent on the end use of the product you are making. If you are doing airframe analysis you are subject to FARs and if you are doing pressure vessels you are subject to ASME BPV.
