FDA approved epoxy

Anyone have any recommendations for an FDA/NSF approved epoxy for bonding 304 stainless to 304 stainless? It's to be used in food equipment in an indirect food contact zone.

Needs to be able to stand up to strong chlorine based cleaners.

Just curious if anyone has come across any. The best I've come up with so far is a 2-part silicone RTV, but I'm still worried it will blown out via air pressure and water.

Master Bond has several food safe epoxies.

Surface preparation is critical for good bonding of stainless.

contact 3M. They also make a series of food safe two part epoxies. They have special surface prep chemicals also to assist with bonding.

Already talked with master bond, but their products are very expensive. Trying to find some realistic alternatives.

I'll check 3M out.

They will all be expensive. For food applications there are restrictions on the hardeners and catylists that they can use.

I'm begining to think nobody likes to make anything for sanitary applications.

I wouldn't mind using some of the new products out there, but they come at very steep prices. In the range of 20x to 100x or more than normal products. I just don't have the budget for that when I'm trying to cut costs on existing applications.
