Faster file load ups 1

Are you bothered by long load times for the vessel files? I am very impatient when I have to wait a long time for the COMPRESS vessel file to load up. Especially because I do this a few hundred times a day and those 10 second waits add up!

You can improve the load time by switching "off" the General Arrangement (GA) drawing before saving the file. Then the next time the file is opened it will load faster because it does not have to generate the GA drawing. The GA drawing will still be available by simply clicking the GA Drawing button on the toolbar.

Turn off the GA drawing by selecting the Action menu, select Set Mode Options. Select the General Arrangement tab on the Set Mode Options dialog. Uncheck the option "Create general arrangement drawing", then click OK button.

Thanks for the tip, Tom.

How about some tips on printing reports? On the Print Report option, I sequenced the reports that I wanted to print. When the reports got out of the printer, they were not collated.
