Fanuc RJ 2's M410i 's- Looking for options to replace or keep going

Thanks for reading this post.
We have 4 Fanuc RJ 2's M 410i's. As you know getting parts for these are slowing getting difficult. I would like
to get some advice on some options .We are on a very limited budget .I was thinking of doing the following.

1. Buy a used RJ 2 and use for spare parts.
2. Replace the RJ 2's with a RJ 3.
( How difficult would it be to duplicate the program in
a RJ 2 to a RJ 3 ?)
Please feel free to reply with other options.
 
CyDog, usually finding a spare robot for parts is not a bad way to go. Electrical parts are fairly easy to find for RJ2 although the 4 axis amp will be a little tougher. Mechanically gear reducers are expensive to replace as are motors although the motors can be repaired unlike the reducers. If you know RJ2 programming you can easily get up to speed on RJ3.
