I was wondering if someone could help me design a fan blade(5 blades). It's for a "Standing Fan" project,

what help do you need

I would start like this:

(if you want the blade to have an aerofoil section)
- Make start and end profile
- Loft, and twist along path

or the surface way:

make 2 lines, at the start and end of the bkade
make a surface between them
sketch a profile and cut around the surface
thicken

I hope I make sense

Richard,

Designing a fan blade requires a lot more than just CAD work. Do you want it to actually work as well? What is the end use of this fan? We'll need a bit more info on this one...

Maybe you can find a fluid mechanics book that has some ready equations, where you input desired flow, air velocity, rpm, number of blades and you get the basic characteristics of the blades
