Family Table item deletion in Windchill help

I'm trying to cleanup the mess of a lesser engineer and have hit a snag. First of all, I have admin rights, so I can do most anything in this folder. I need to delete the existence of a newly created family table member. Unfortunately the generic was not revised prior to this action and it was all checked in to commonspace. Therefor I have generic.asm at rev H.2 and family_table_member.asm at rev 1.1. Those are the iterations I need deleted, but when I choose to delete the "latest" iteration if fails because windchill will only do the latest when there is more than 1. I need generic.asm rev H.1 to remain as that was our last production release, thus deleting the latest revision is out as well. Any bigger "experts" out there that can help?

Good luck, it may not be possible because of Windchill rules. Will there ever be a change to the generic and a new instance added? If so, rename the bad one to something so people don't use it, then when a valid change comes along, rename it and use that one to get the right revisions.
When I see a file at iteration 1, I question what was changed since the revise command creates the new version at iteration 1 which is identical to the last iteration of the prior revision.
