I've been scouring the 14th S.C.M. for shop fabrication dimensional tolerances. Specifically: parts/cut length, hole center-to-center, end plate/base plate "squareness", etc.

So far all I can find is hole center to edge distance (Table J3.4 in the Spec. for Struct. Steel Buildings) and "member" (beam? column?)overall length at 6.4.1 in the "Code of Standard Practice".

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

You need to look at the back of the Manual for the "Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges" section. The fabrication tolerances are found in Section 6.4.1 - 6.4.6. This is a free download in PDF form from the AISC website.
