Extruding a Solid Body from a "wrap" curve

You extruded them but NX gave you a sheet body. Right ;-)
What are your extruded "From / To" choices ?

A work around below :
"Extract Face" your cylindrical face.
"Thicken sheet" it.
"Trim body" it using your extruded.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with your English, your message was well conveyed.

I was looking to extrude from top to bottom, but it came out as shown in the pic like you figured out.
I also tried thicken sheet and that didn't work too.
I'm going to try extract face and trim body to see if these help.

Maybe extrude the curves that the wrapped curves originated from and trim, and make other modification to the solid body, as needed.
I see replace face (with offset) maybe being utilized here.
 
From top to bottom.
These are not NX vocabulary words I expected ;-) (BTY, which NX version ?)

In your extrude, you must specify a Start and a End.
For both, it can be a : Value / Until next / Until selected / Until extended ... etc ... etc.
What did you select ?

What is the final shape you'll like to model ?
A bump or a recess on your cylindrical face ? In radial or linear way ? Through the all body ?

There are a number of ways possible, depending on how you want the "extrude" .
* Use Divide Face, then extrude using the "pace edges" as selection rule. This will give parallel sides of the extrusion. draft needs to be applied i a separate feature if that is desired.
* Thicken Sheet will give sides which are normal to the thickened face.
* The Emboss feature, can use the wrapped curves without prep, it allows for multiple draft angles and top-face-options.
* there is also an older colleague to the Emboss called General Boss, which would give similar results.

I meant to say "Value" = 0 at Start and "Value" = -4 at End.
I am actually looking to model a bump of a certain shape on the surface of a cylinder.

also, I use NX 8.5
 
Toost mentioned Emboss. There is also Pad. The advantage to Emboss or Pad is that the direction of the extrude is always normal to the surface your curve is on, instead of normal in just one direction. (unless you can select a non-planar face as the normal for the extrusion - I forget)

Here's an example on the 4 methods mentioned. 7.5 format.
I remembered wrong name in previous post, it's "General Pad", not "General Boss".
Edit the first sketch change P25 to 0 to see a more orthogonal result.
