Extrude up to a volume

I have a general component with density and volume property assigned and I want to represent the variation of its volume.

Can I extrude my component to a point or surface to obtain a reduction of volume that I would like to remove? Maybe I could use a parametric function but I don't know how?
I'm using wf2

I think you can probably do it with relations, but I don't know how.
