Extrude text with intersecting/overlapping letters?

Hi!
I`am using Creo Parametric 3.0 M070 and I try to extrude a text but it doesn't work. The font is cursive and is designed with overlapping letters and Creo interpret this as a intersecting error with the message:
"Intersecting entities encountered in the section."

I tried trim but it doesn't work, I can of course sketch a new plane and trace every letter but it will take forever. Is there any way to solve this?

got a picture of the sketch? ( the text i guess?) And are you using offset- expand, or extrude feature?

I am using the extrude feature and just want to extrude the sketch to make a solid. I tried View attachment 6864
