Greetings:

Attached is a PowerPoint pic to help see the issue. I've extracted geometry from a part, then extend the edges to make a larger trim body. Looking at the pic, you can see where two edges did not stay together in the extend. Can anyone advise how this can be fixed, or maybe I did not extend properly?

Thanks in advance,

Brent

lots of ways, depending on your needs.
if its an out of part fix, one method I use is a 2nd, negative extension to make the gap bigger. bridge curve the outer edge and fill surface to fill it in.

You can also try by selecting the highlighted edge while extending the sheet.

can you export , only these sheets using parasolid and upload ?
( File- export- parasolid, then select the sheets to export - OK -...)
these sheets should not contain any secret data i hope.

- There are quite a few options to heal this crack in NX.

Tomas

Tomas,

I have resolved this issue, but just posted another challenge that I'm having difficulty with regarding a groove in this contour. Could you possibly help with that? I have attached models.

Thanks,

Brent
