Dear all,

I am using SE V17 for 2D drawings (dft).

This had been troubling me for days!!
At the moment, I am painfully typing out the co-ordinates from the dimensioned drawing.

Does anyone know how to extract the co-ordinates of the drawing out into a simple text file, like X, Y format?

Any other hints would also be very much appreciated.

Regards,

I know you can do it using the hole table, is that what you are trying to do or are you trying to list all dimensions by co-ordinates?

I don't think this will be any help in this case but in the modelling environments you can copy information to the clipboard from the measure commands.
Just highlight the text you want and then <CTRL>C.
I've done it in the past to set a dimension in a part to a measurement in an assembly. Use <CTRL>V to paste.
