Extension Lines

I know how to slant the extension lines in a drawing but that makes the extension lines parallel, is there any way to make the extension lines slant toward each other in SW2003? I'm dimensioning the gauge diameter of a tapered shaft and it would look better if the extension lines slanted toward each other.

One possible technique:

This is a method for sketching lines on a view for use as extension lines. Note use of vertical and horizontal constraints on enpoints to keep sketched curves associative with model geometry.
