Can any body send me the cross section of expressway's pavement

It would be a simple elongated rectangle. Explain your question more to give us an idea of the need you have. Is it continuously placed with no forms, continuous reinforcement? Traffic count? Weather?

This is a typical NYSDOT section for rigid pavement & flexible pavement. Keep in mind every DOT has its own standard.

SHAA.....be careful with using generalized cross sections. As Bridgebuster notes, each DOT may be different. YOU, as the the engineer, must understand the local requirements of traffic, soils, materials and structure of the pavement.

Then there are the potential problems with joints failing, curling of slabs, etc. Example is Hy 17 in NYS among many. Not simple.
