Exporting to STEP with colors, having trouble

Hi
Having problems exporting to step with colors. Only some of the colors are coming thru. This could lead to problems for my customer who is relying on those colors for machining purposes. I have set my config.pro to:
- step_appearance_layers_groups yes
- step_export_format ap214_cd

Any advice would be helpfull, thanks ahead
