Exporting the Notes Field to Excel 1

Afternoon,

I am trying to export details from MSProject to MSExcel and am having problems with the notes fields.

When the notes fields are exported, after a number of characters "..." appears and the remaining details are omitted.

Does anyone have a solution?

The "..." indicates that there were more than 255 characters in the note field. Since this is the same limit as Excel, you would not be able to extract all the text in the notes into Excel anyway.

However, there may be a way to get to the complete contents through a macro that copies the contents to the clipboard for pasting into a Word table.
