How you export may depend on whether it's text, mtext, or attributes.

You can just open the text editor and copy and paste from there. Alignments will be a little off, but the data will be fully editable in Word or Excel.
Remember: The Chinese ideogram for “crisis” is comprised of the characters for “danger” and “opportunity.”
