I may be doing something wrong but I have a part with multiple configurations that I need to save as an .STL file.
When I do the STL file is always of the "in-use" or "last saved" configuration. I need STL's of all the configurations. Help.

Try making scratch files of your models, exporting the configs as parasolids and reimporting into new parts si there is only the single config.

It is impossible to make stl files of the configurations.
i think it is the same case in all the cad softwares

Thanks. I found that I have to export each configuration separately as an STL. To use in an assembly I would have to import the file as a dummy part them export the assembly in stl format. Seems to work fine that way.
