Exporting an NX assembly to STL file

I am wanting to export an NX assembly to an STL file. I have gotten it to work on several other assemblies in the past, but I am now having trouble with others. I go through all of the steps and select all of the components but when it is completed it is asking for me to select a surface. I cannot figure out what it is asking for with this. I have tried selecting different faces, datum planes etc. with no luck. After selecting these the error message states that it must be a sheet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
