Hi all!

I'm a novice user to SW2007 standard (upper level user of Pro/E), and my company has a couple copies of SW2007 pro, but not much advanced experience.

What I'm interested in doing is creating explosive assembly animations (I've figured out how to do this), but I haven't seen any way to make an avi from the standard edition.

Does anyone know if I could create this explosive assembly, send it to one of our SW users who has the animator addin, and make an avi out of my explosive assembly?

Thanks in advance!!

If the licenses are installed on each individual computer then you will have
to use the other computer, and should be no problem at all.

The other option is if your admin setup the licenses with a network license
server. I believe you could then grab a license that has the Animation option
and do it yourself.

Yeah... no problem with using the other cpu for animation...

But, can you make an avi from an explosion view... or, do you have to re-create the animation for the avi function?

The exploded view is saved with the model, so when you goto the other
machine and open the model all the changes you made will be there.
