explode text symbol

I am on WF 1.0. Up to 2001 version, I was able to explode a text symbol for example, a drawing note and change the content of a predefined symbol.


With WF, I don't see any option of exploding a text symbol. Is there a config setting somewhere that enables this, so that the users can change as they bring in symbols into the drawings?

Are you sure it is for the same symbol? It is in the definition of the symbol you have to define that the text can change.

Yes, it's the same symbol. In 2001, there is a pull down menu where you can select "explode," but it is not there in WF.

EDIT/CONVERT TO DRAFT ENTITIES
