We are in the design stage for 2 new utility bridges. We have some 138kV, 46kV, 12kV, and assorted communication lines that will be crossing the bridges. Conduits are a mix of metal and pvc and are anything from 2" to 6". I'm looking for a reputable manufacturer of deflection/expansion couplers. The utility companies are not giving any direction and are leaving all these details up to the consultants... Movement of bridge is less than 1" and rotation is less than 5 degrees. We are using some of Emerson's products but don't have anything for the pvc lines. Some couplers utilize neoprene and I wasn't sure if this would be an issue with the heat generated by the high-voltage cables.
