Hello

I am using Pro-E Wildfire2 and would like to know if anyone can help me find a material pattern or .dmt file for expanded metal I have a guard made out of 1/4" x 2" flat frame with expanded metal inside the flat frame. How do I make the inside look like 3/4" expanded metal. Any help would be appreciated.

Bill

expanded metal a material produced from steel, with a diamond shape relief cut in it follow this link http://www.marcospecialtysteel.com/expandedmetal.htmI would like to replicate this material on a pro-e model. Hope this helps

If I correctly understood you are talking about materials (colours). Than your question is not on real place

Dear Bill,

for this,I have tried to use "fill" pattern.

Firstly create the cut shape you want to replicate. Round the edges etc. Group it.

Make the fill pattern with "Diamond Pattern".Note pattern distance is equal to center distance.

Please send me your mail id so as to send you the part file.

I am able to upload file here.Server is rejecting it.

Regards,

I've done this, it wasn't too hard in the end.
