I have an existing pipe that is flowing into a large wetland(31 cfs), we are building a new detention pond that I would like the existing pipe to flow into but the pond not hold or account for this flow (free flow through the ponds outlet). Is there any way to use hydrocad to allow this flow to be released without being calculated in the pond storage or added to the new inflow volumes?

If you want the pond to "not hold or account for this flow", why are you modeling the pond at all?

If you are "building a new detention pond", then you need to include all the inflows in your calculation.

I suspect you're trying to compare existing vs. proposed conditions. If this is the case, run one model for each and compare the results. But you need to include all the inflows (even the existing flow you want to release) in order to get a valid model.

The only responsible way to not account for this runoff in your pond design is to route the runoff around the pond on your construction plans.
