exclude skeleton from interference check?

Is the above possible?
Ive created an assembly in which the components are
attached to a solid wall with holes which actually is a
skeleton. Now if I want to do a global interference check,
all parts are colliding with this wall..
 
Did you try creating a Simplified Rep with the skeleton
model excluded?
 
I've never thought of using solids in the skeletons, just datum features or copied geometry(surfaces), is that common practise?
