We are having problems with walls we are pouring on a specified job. The concrete mix is a 4000 psi air entrained mix & is designed with a .35 water/cement ratio. The concrete is being tested & is being batched at a 3" slump & after verifying & adding plasticizer on site the slump is 8". After pouring the walls & waiting for the initial set the concrete is producing excessive bleedwater in turn causing the concrete to settle approximately 3/4". I was curious if anyone has ever heard of this & what may possibley be causing this.
