Im trying to make a linked copy of a workbook. I.E. I want to have a source workbook that drives another workbook. I know how to link cells, but I have to deal with formatting issues. Can you make one workbook drive another without any hassel?

Thanks

Jeff

Yes. Open them both at the same time, build the driver first, then when you need to pull data in to the driven one just point at the right cell. I don't see why you have formatting issues.

Incidentally congratulations for the most redundant and least informative thread title I have seen in a while. Oh well, I suppose it could have been "Need help with a spreadsheet".

Cheers

Yeah well, we both clicked on it anyway.

Another way to drive workbooks externally is with macros.
