Hi Guys and Gals -

Does anyone know of a solution for my problem? The company I work for has a standard BOM that is in excel. Certain information is on it and parts of it need to be copied onto the assembly drawing for each job.

What I would like is to be able to open a window to this excel sheet and show as many rows and columns as needed (different on each drawing), and have it be updated if the excel bom changes.

Am I asking too much for SolidWorks to do? I am not sure how to even get it into SW in a reasonable fashion. I have been re-creating it on each drawing, and this is getting to be a LOT of work.

Thanks for any replies
