What happens when you put 1200V through 24G wire that is rated for only 1000V?
A coworker asked for my help in this matter. He is conducting a dielectric test on actuators. The test requires he use 24G wire that is rated for 1000V. The dielectric test instructs to put 1200V through it.
What happens after repeated tests are performed on the same wiring? Would the wire disintegrate over time?
Many thanks in advance.
