Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to evaluate stiffness of Subgrade / Subbase using Portable Falling Weight Deflectometer method:

1) Anyone knows where I can find more information on this topic?

2) If I want to focus on the analysis the read using "Time Integration of load and displacement", anyone knows the theory basis?

3) If I want to build model to simulate the falling weight impact on subgrade and analysis the result, which program is suitable for it? SAP2000, Ansys or Abaqus?

Thank you very much.

rpliu,

Googling "Falling Weight Deflectometer" yields a ton of links. Try it.

Jeff

Thanks.

I searched a lot, but they are using "Peak value method" instead of "Time Integration of load and displacement".

Furthermore, anyone could give me advice on which program to use to simulate the model? how?
